Moldovan water and sanitation sector Community of Practice

Joint learning does not necessarily happen automatically and needs to be fostered. Very often water and sanitation sector practitioners do not exchange information and knowledge which prevents mutual learning and capacity-building in the sector.

The Moldovan water and sanitation sector Community of Practice (CoP), triggered by ApaSan in 2011, aims to steer learning and encourage knowledge sharing and exchange among sector specialists in order to bring an actual change to the sector. With a core group responsible for the coordination and secretarial support, the CoP counts 25 regular members which meet four times per year. It is an active and widely self-steered platform of knowledge exchange.
